Terms and Conditions

1. General

These conditions apply to all cycling holidays offered by Ride-It!

By booking, the customer agrees to these conditions.

2. Booking Payment

A booking is final upon receipt of a down payment of 25% of the total amount.

The remaining amount must be paid no later than 6 weeks before departure.

For bookings within 6 weeks before departure, the full amount is due immediately.

3. Cancellation by the Customer

Cancellation must be made in writing.

Cancellation fees:

• Up to 42 days before departure: 25% of the travel sum
• 42–21 days: 50% of the travel sum
• 21–7 days: 75% of the travel sum
• Less than 7 days: 100% of the travel sum

Cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.

4. Cancellation or Changes by the Organization

Ride-It! reserves the right to cancel the trip in case of force majeure or insufficient participants (minimum 4).

In case of cancellation by us, the customer will receive a full refund of the travel sum.

5. Liability

Participation in the cycling holiday is at one’s own risk.

Ride-It! is not liable for injury, loss, damage, or theft.

The customer is responsible for their own bicycle and equipment, unless a rental bike is included.

6. Travel Details

Included: accommodations, route information, luggage transport (if applicable).

Not included: travel insurance, roadside assistance (unless stated otherwise).

7. Health and Fitness

The participant declares to be in good physical condition and to have sufficient cycling skills.

Any medical restrictions must be reported in advance.

8. Insurance

Customers must arrange their own valid travel insurance.

Cancellation and/or bicycle insurance is recommended.

9. Complaint Procedure

Complaints must be reported on-site so that a solution can be sought.

Written complaints must be submitted no later than 14 days after the end of the trip.

10. Applicable Law

Dutch law applies to all agreements.

Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Ghent.
